New car sorted

Postby neilj37 » Sun Mar 14, 2010 10:12 pm

Well the garage was still warm from the "seven" but it has only taken me a day to find a raplacement car. A little more power and just as fun to drive but this time i have a roof, heater and radio lol. Handed over a deposit and get the car in 2 weeks.

Decided to go for a 2005 lotus elise 111R.

Will post a pic once i get it off my phone.

Think you may have missed a little off there, hopefully it is around 190BHP :P

The 111R is the one fitted with the Toyota engine.

Nice looker with black wheels.

Was reading about the run on the se site and the little accident. Seems to have kicked off a little debate about runs etc.

Toys out of the pram job, but after the grit-blasting I got, I am tempted to agree a meet point then make you own way - save smelling someone elses oily engine fumes

Neil,

That a nice car, you will have to come in by and show me it.

Funny but my 7 has a much better heater than my Elise and they both leak about the same.

Admittedly locks and a bigger boot help sometimes.

Enjoy the new car though. After trying to keep up with Jason et al on o5o7o9 last year in his S, and me in the 7, I realised they really are quite rapid on the road when you are trying to follow.
